IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
If you are concerned about your safety or privacy while using this site, please read this carefully.
Quick Exit Feature Limitations
The "Quick Exit" feature (ESC key or exit button) will immediately redirect your browser to a neutral website, but it does not clear your browsing history, cookies, or cache. If someone checks your browser history, they may be able to see that you visited this site.
To Protect Your Privacy
- Use "Incognito" or "Private Browsing" mode in your browser
- Access this site from a secure device that others do not have access to (such as a work computer, friend's device, or public library)
- Clear your browser history, cookies, and cache after each session if you cannot use private browsing
- Consider using a different email address that your spouse does not know about
- Be aware that shared devices (tablets, computers) may sync browsing data across accounts
Divorce AI is not responsible for the discovery of your usage by third parties who have access to your device, browser history, or accounts.
Introduction
This Privacy Policy (this "Policy") is incorporated into our Terms of Use, and therefore governs your use of the Site. Capitalized terms not defined in this Policy have the meaning given in the Terms of Use.
KD Digital Services, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Divorce AI," "we," "our," or "us"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Policy applies to your use of the Divorce AI website (divorceai.com), our mobile applications, any services we offer, and any reports or results generated through our platform (collectively, the "Services").
This Policy describes how we collect, use, process, and disclose your information, including personal information, in conjunction with your access to and use of our Services.
Data Controller
When this policy mentions "Divorce AI," "we," "us," or "our," it refers to KD Digital Services, Inc., a Delaware corporation, which is responsible for your information under this Privacy Policy (the "Data Controller").
Key Definitions

- Sensitive Personal Information: Information considered sensitive under privacy laws (e.g., financial account data, precise geolocation if collected, government ID numbers, certain health/insurance details).
- Confidential Personal Information (CPI): Especially sensitive information such as full Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, passport numbers, full bank account numbers, or similar identifiers.

We collect different types of information from or about you:

Information from Third Parties
If you choose to connect your account to a third-party service (such as Google), we may receive information from that service, such as your profile information and any other information you've authorized the third party to share with us. Payment processors provide us confirmation of payment status (we do not store full card numbers).
Data Minimization Note
Please avoid entering Confidential Personal Information (CPI) unless a specific feature clearly requires it. Where possible, we design fields to use partial identifiers (e.g., last 4 digits) rather than full account numbers.
Third-Party Personal Information (Spouse, Children, Others)
Our Services require you to provide information about other individuals, including your spouse, children, and potentially other family members ("Third-Party Personal Information"). By providing this information, you represent and warrant that:
- You have the legal right to provide information about these individuals for the purposes of divorce planning
- For information about minor children, you represent that you are their parent or legal guardian
- You understand that this information will be processed solely for providing the Services
We will not use or disclose Third-Party Personal Information for marketing, advertising, or any commercial purposes unrelated to providing the Services. Information about your spouse and children is used solely to generate calculations, reports, and documents for your divorce planning.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide, maintain, and improve our Services
- To generate divorce financial calculations and reports based on your inputs
- To process transactions and send related information, including confirmations and receipts
- To send you technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support messages
- To respond to your comments, questions, and customer service requests
- To personalize your experience and deliver content and product features relevant to your interests
- To monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities in connection with our Services
- To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions and other illegal activities
- To protect the rights, privacy, safety, and property of Divorce AI and others
- For any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information or with your consent
We do not use sensitive Case Data (including spouse/children data) for targeted advertising. If we market Divorce AI, we aim to do so using high-level, non-sensitive signals (for example, site-wide conversion metrics on public pages) rather than your private planning data.
Artificial Intelligence and Data Processing
How AI Processes Your Data
Our Services use artificial intelligence to process your inputs and generate outputs such as calculations, reports, and document drafts. When you use AI-powered features, your inputs are processed in real-time to generate responses.
Data NOT Used for AI Training
Divorce AI will NOT use your Confidential Personal Information—including your financial data, family information, personal identifiers, or sensitive case details—to train public-facing artificial intelligence models.
Any use of data for system improvement is strictly limited to:
- Aggregated, de-identified usage statistics
- Error logs that have been stripped of personally identifiable information
- Performance metrics that cannot be traced back to individual users
Third-Party AI Providers
Some features of our Services may utilize third-party artificial intelligence providers. When third-party AI is used, your data is transmitted to these providers for processing. We require these providers to maintain strict confidentiality and data protection standards. You can contact us at supportdivorceai.com to learn more about which AI providers we use and their data practices.
Legal Basis for Processing (EU and UK Users)
If you are located in the European Union or United Kingdom, we collect and process your personal information only where we have a legal basis for doing so. This includes:
- Consent: You have agreed to the processing of your data for one or more specific purposes.
- Contractual Necessity: Processing is necessary to perform a contract with you or take steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- Legal Obligation: Processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation.
- Legitimate Interests: Processing is necessary for our legitimate interests or those of a third party, provided those interests don't override your fundamental rights and freedoms.
How We Share Your Information
We may share your personal information with the following categories of recipients:
- Service Providers: Third-party vendors who provide services on our behalf, such as payment processing, data analysis, email delivery, hosting, customer service, and AI processing. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information.
- AI Sub-processors: Third-party artificial intelligence providers who process data to power certain features of our Services. See "Artificial Intelligence and Data Processing" above.
- Corporate Affiliates: Our subsidiaries and affiliates, who may process your information for the purposes described in this policy.
- Legal Requirements: When required by law or to respond to legal process, as described in "Legal Compliance and Subpoenas" below.
- Business Transfers: In connection with any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business.
- With Your Consent: To any other third party with your prior consent.
We will not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. We will not use or disclose Third-Party Personal Information (such as information about your spouse or children) for any commercial purposes unrelated to providing the Services.
Legal Compliance and Subpoenas
We may be compelled to disclose your data pursuant to a valid court order, subpoena, or other legal process.
In divorce proceedings, one party may attempt to subpoena digital records from the other party or from third-party services. You should be aware that:
- We will comply with valid legal process requiring disclosure of your data
- We will attempt to notify you of such requests unless prohibited by law or court order
- We may disclose information if we believe disclosure is necessary to prevent physical harm or financial loss, or in connection with an investigation of suspected illegal activity
Recommendation: Download and save your documents locally to your secure device. We do not guarantee indefinite storage of your data on our servers, and you should maintain your own copies of all important documents.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to collect information about your browsing activities and to distinguish you from other users of our Services. These technologies help us analyze how users use our Services, personalize your experience, measure the effectiveness of our advertising, and optimize our Services.
You can control cookies through your browser settings and other tools. However, if you block certain cookies, you may not be able to register, log in, or access certain parts or make full use of the Services.
We may also work with third-party partners who use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to display advertisements on our Services and to manage our advertising on other sites. These partners may collect information about your activities on our Services and other websites to provide you with targeted advertising.
Enhanced Privacy Features
Divorce AI provides several specialized privacy features designed to protect your confidentiality when using our Services. These features include:
Stealth Mode and Quick Exit
Our application includes a "Stealth Mode" that minimizes the visibility of sensitive content and provides a quick-exit button that immediately redirects your browser to a neutral website. You can activate quick-exit by:
- Pressing the ESC key
- Clicking the visible quick-exit button
- Using the configurable double-tap gesture (if enabled)
IMPORTANT LIMITATION: The Quick Exit feature does NOT clear your browsing history, cookies, or cache. For maximum privacy, use Incognito/Private browsing mode or access this site from a secure device.
Application Disguise
You can choose to have our application appear with a different name and icon for added privacy. When enabled, the application will display as "Weather Forecast" in browser tabs and window titles. This does not prevent discovery through browser history, installed extensions, device monitoring software, shared accounts, or administrative access.
PIN Protection
For additional security, you can enable PIN protection that requires a 4-digit code to access the application. This helps reduce casual access but does not protect against a person who already has your device passcode, your email access, or advanced monitoring tools.
Email Notification Controls
You have control over email communications from our Services. If discreet sender naming is offered ("KD Services"), please note that email providers may still show previews, and shared email accounts can expose messages.
- Option to disable all email notifications
- All emails appear with a discreet sender name ("KD Services") in your inbox
- Email subject lines never contain sensitive or revealing content
- Option to receive notifications only within the application
Discreet Billing
Charges may appear on your statements as "KD Services" to maintain your privacy. However, banks may display additional merchant metadata, and shared financial accounts can still reveal purchases.
Device Safety Tips
- Use a secure, uncompromised device if you suspect monitoring
- Consider private browsing mode (Incognito/Private Window)
- Log out after each session on shared devices
- Review shared iCloud/Google account syncing settings
- Change passwords and enable multi-factor authentication where possible
- Consider using a different email address that is not shared
Device Security and Monitoring Software
Divorce AI cannot secure your personal device. We cannot detect or protect against monitoring software ("spyware" or "stalkerware") that may be installed on your device.
Understanding the Risk
In high-conflict divorce situations, it is common for one party to install monitoring software on the other party's devices. This software can:
- Record your keystrokes (including passwords and everything you type)
- Take screenshots of your screen
- Access your browser history and activity
- Read your emails and messages
- Track your location
Our Recommendations
If you suspect your device may be monitored, we strongly recommend:
- Access this site only from a secure, uncompromised device (such as a friend's computer, work computer, or public library)
- Have your devices professionally inspected for spyware
- Consider using a new device that your spouse has never had access to
- Change passwords from a secure device, not from a potentially compromised one
- Contact local domestic violence resources if you need help with digital safety
Liability Disclaimer
Divorce AI disclaims any liability for data compromised due to spyware, keyloggers, stalkerware, or other monitoring software installed on your personal equipment. A security breach on your personal device is not a breach of our systems or services.
Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:
- Access: You can request copies of your personal information.
- Correction: You can ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion: You can ask us to delete your personal information in certain circumstances (subject to legal retention requirements).

- Data Portability: You can ask us to transfer your information to another organization or to you.
- Objection: You can object to our processing of your personal information.

To exercise these rights, please contact us at supportdivorceai.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding to your request. We will respond to your request within 30 days (or such shorter period as required by applicable law).
California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) provide you with specific rights regarding your personal information:
- The right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell
- The right to delete personal information we have collected from you
- The right to opt-out of the sale or sharing of your personal information
- The right to non-discrimination for exercising your CCPA rights
- The right to limit use and disclosure of sensitive personal information
- The right to correct inaccurate personal information
We do not sell your personal information. To exercise your other rights, please contact us at supportdivorceai.com or through the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the footer of our website.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law, such as for tax, accounting, or other legal requirements.
When we no longer need to process your information for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, we will either delete or anonymize your information, or if deletion or anonymization isn't possible, we will securely store your information and isolate it from further processing until deletion is possible.
Account Deletion: If you request deletion of your account, we will delete or de-identify your personal information from active systems within 30 days, subject to: (a) legal retention requirements (such as tax records or court orders), (b) backup retention for up to 90 days, and (c) aggregated analytics data that cannot identify you.
Please Note: We may be required to retain certain information for legal compliance purposes, including to comply with court orders or subpoenas. We recommend that you download and maintain your own copies of all important documents generated through our Services.
Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the security of your personal information, including:
- Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL)
- Encryption of data at rest
- Access controls and authentication requirements
- Regular security assessments and updates
However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Your Responsibility: It is important that you take steps to protect against unauthorized access to your password, devices, and accounts. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer, never share your password with others, and review the "Device Security and Monitoring Software" section above.
Children's Privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. The Services are intended for use only by adults who are planning or going through a divorce.
Information About Minor Children: We understand that divorce planning inherently involves information about minor children. When you provide information about your children, you represent that you are their parent or legal guardian and have the legal right to provide this information. We use information about children solely for the purpose of generating divorce-related calculations and documents. We do not use data about minors for marketing, advertising, tracking, or analytics purposes.
If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under 13 as a user (not as data about a child in a divorce case), we will delete that information. If you believe we might have any such information, please contact us at supportdivorceai.com.
International Data Transfers
We may transfer your personal information to countries other than the country in which you initially provided the information, including the United States. If we transfer your personal information to countries outside of your home country, we will ensure that an adequate level of protection is afforded to the information as required by applicable laws, such as through standard contractual clauses or other appropriate safeguards.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time in response to changing legal, technical, or business developments. When we update our Privacy Policy, we will take appropriate measures to inform you, consistent with the significance of the changes we make. We will obtain your consent to any material Privacy Policy changes if and where this is required by applicable data protection laws. You can see when this Privacy Policy was last updated by checking the "Last Updated" date displayed at the top of this Privacy Policy.
